We are a family park located on the Burin Peninsula with a full mile of Caribbean like sand with a large swimming area that is kid friendly. Great for family vacations and we have the accommodations to match. We offer 130— 30 AMP sites and 23 cabins in one, two and three bedrooms.
Our History
The Golden Sands Resort was first started by Don Moulton of Lewins Cove in 1966. It consisted of smaller tenting sites and a few small cabins. In 1988 was purchased by Bert Goulding who operated for three years. In 1991 was purchased by Roland and Lucy Bambury former Newfoundlanders who retired out of Sarnia Ontario. In 2001 was purchased by Present owner Daisy Matthews Brenton and now operated by her and her husband Rick Brenton.
